Working on more spoken word stuff, trying to get this album written and recorded for this spring. Don't know if it will happen. Here's hoping.
Beamed another article to Adam last night. Probably won't get a reply until tomorrow or the weekend, after all, yesterday was press day.
Short stories have stagnated. Nothing of this sort written for far too long.
An idea for a novel has occured recently. A vampire (soulless) who clings to his Christian faith (or converts after becoming a vamp?). The internal comflict and self-torture/self-loathing seems perfect for the type of gothic setting that vampires tend to inhabit. Fuck horror movie vamps with gallons of blood spilling all over, this is the real vampre story.

Well, my article finally appeared in The Gateway today. Reading over it, I've realized it is terribly written. Still, I feel that the message is an important one. I'll post a link to the article once the Gateway website is updated.

Journalist without integrity is doing well for itself. I hired two new writers today and will likely have a third by the end of the week (unless his application really sucks, which I don't expect it to). I now have three writers (including myself) from three different countries - Canada, The United States, and England - and three different perspectives. All in all it makes for a great news team that will be able to cover a wide array of topics from several points of view.
As for my article to The Gateway, we'll see if it is in the paper tomorrow.

Well, there was a striking lack of Adam in today's Gateway. I opened up the paper and saw NO ARTICLE by me. I suppose it was delayed for some reason and will appear on Thursday, which is the better paper any way. It has a longer "shelf life", shall we say, than the Tuesday issue and a larger printing as well. Besides which, maybe Adam will actually remember who I am if he sees my face in the paper on the same day that he sees it in the office for the Opinion meeting later that day. All's well I suppose.
